First of all, thanks to everyone that made it out to Kelly’s Irish Pub and the first annual Sturgis on 53rd!  We had a great time and it was lookin’ like everyone else had a good time, as well.  Some of you showed up a little later in the day after already have a ‘good time’ of your own elsewhere… you know who you are, too!  Specific thanks to Dan Kelly for keeping the event free.  Not very often you find a ‘festival’ type event around here you can just stroll into without having your first 2 beers (at least) sucked out of you pocket at the door.    Hopefully the crappy weather didn’t keep any of you indoors that night because it turned out to be a beautiful evening.  Also, thanks to our friends Wicked Liz & the Bellyswirls and MinusSix for sharing their skills, too.  If you did miss it, plan to attend next year!

Now for the beyond part.  This Friday, 6/23, Spatterdash will be headed south to one of our favorite outdoor venues - The Missipi Brewing Co in spacious Muscatine, IA.  No, that is NOT a type-o, that is actually the way they spell it.  No wonder we love it there!  With all the other things going on this weekend, I believe a ‘taste’ of original QC Bar Room Kings, Spatterdash, won’t leave a nasty taste behind, won’t promote gingivitis, will lower your cholesterol, slash your weight, and leave you feeling springtime fresh and clean! 

So, join us, under the stars this coming Friday and soak in all that is good with The Missipi Brewing Co. and all that is delicious with Spatterdash!
